Hiking and climbing in Garibaldi Park is not technically demanding but fun and most people return often to explore the different areas. The first ascent of the Mont Blanc on skis was via the classic route in 1904 by Ugo Mylius with Oberland guides: Tannler, Maurer and Zurfluh. The last 2 racks of stairs appear endless; your feet feel like they're going explode and your leg muscles are rapidly turning to jelly. When we’re closed, we’re busy serving at-risk and under-resourced youth throughout our community through climbing, mentoring, leadership and discipleship training.
